Guest WIFI – WIFI Analytics for your retail or quick service restaurant – for free.

By September 6, 2016 Broadband

Safe to say that the days of ‘paid’ Guest WIFI are safely in the past. Guest WIFI in Hotels, restaurants and retail sites are pretty much all gone to the ‘establishment provided’ model. Makes sense.

There are a few companies that offer to work with these organizations with an ‘over the top’ marketing and analytics platform that utilizes public Guest WIFI to attract, retain and reward customers.

With Frontier, here is what you can do for no additional charge with the service that we provide pretty much out of the box.

Guest WIFI

Guest WIFI

It starts with a Frontier provided Access Point.

With this example you can use Facebook WIFI to turn your access point into a social Guest WIFI hotspot. By letting your customers check in to and like your Facebook Page before using the web for free, you can build closer relationships with them by sharing offers and announcements. When people like your Page or claim an offer, you’ll learn more about them through Page Insights.

Guest WIFI

Facebook WIFI is free to use and works with most Open Mesh access points. You can start using it today in just a few clicks.

Start by grabbing a Frontier Networks supplied WIFI Hotspot access point. Once we enable your venue you will be able to offer a WIFI hotspot as a value add and customers are directed to your custom branded log-in page. All via a private and secure segment of your network that won’t touch your internal or payment network.

Guest WIFI

Your visitors can connect to your Guest WIFI via a social profile such as Facebook which will allow the customer to ‘like’ your business page. Other data can be provided via a provided API link such as generating a targeted marketing list that you can use for customer reward programs.

Here is a small video that describes this in more detail. It is pretty cool. And free.

It’s easy.

Once we enable the Facebook WIFI option on your Facebook Page and customers can now simply check in to your location on Facebook to connect to free WiFi. People will also have the option of liking your Facebook Page. WiFi codes aren’t necessary and there are no new accounts to create. Customers can manually check in or choose a setting that lets them automatically check in whenever they visit your location.

Facebook is just one example. We support multiple Social Networks.
