International Expansion of our Frontier Voice in the Cloud Origination DID Footprint

We are pleased to announce that we have expanded our Frontier VoiceCloud Origination DID Footprint

Frontier Networks’ local service combines carrier-class quality, reliability, and security. The Frontier VoiceCloud is designed for enterprise customers seeking end-to-end local origination VoIP service driven through our IP Network. Now, our Canadian customers can access multiple markets, across diverse regions of the world, and terminate to a single IP interconnection point on the the IP Network that we deliver to you now. This translates to increased efficiencies and enhancements to support your unique needs.


Customers can port phone numbers from their current provider to the Frontier Voice in the Cloud via our Local Number Portability feature. This provides business continuity as the customer retains their number, and receives the carrier-grade service that you expect from us.

How does it work?

When you subscribe to Frontier Voice in the Cloud, you indicate the number of concurrent call paths that you require. Now, our Origination DID footprint has expanded outside of our Canada, UK and US markets. So, if you have an office in Italy, or China, we can assign you local phone numbers in each of these markets and haul the calls back to your headquarters or regional offices with ease, for the price of a local call. Also, we could simply map the calls to ring in your domestic market, so calls in China can terminate to your local office in China. All of this is defined in our core.

And remember this is not VoIP, this is VoPN, our Voice over Private Network. Your call will take a very predictable route over our IP MPLS network
